Street Fighter Movie Update: Edmund Chen Casted
What better way to top off the awesomeness of Street Fighter IV with news on the upcoming movie? As reported on Kotaku, Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun Li has announced its other round of cast members. Apart from Kristin Kreuk (of Smallville fame) starring as the title character, you also have:
- Michael Clark Duncan as Balrog, the boxer who can't kick. Everyone knows who Michael Clark Duncan is, right?
- Rick Yun as Gen, the old guy from Street Fighter Alpha 2 onwards with two play-styles.
- Chris Klein (American Pie) as Nash, Guile's war buddy.
Rounding up the cast is Singapore's very own Edmund Chen, star of such hits as Sunshine After The Rain, Saigon Eclipse and Modelling For Hair Growth Centre Beijing 101. His role hasn't been confirmed yet, but he definitely could be a shoe-in for everyone's favorite red-bandanna-and-white-gi wearing fireball-tosser. Personally, this has straight-for-DVD written all over it. Then again, Dragon War did came out on cinemas, so anything's possible. - Mr Toffee
